Dr. Amy Kupper is a licensed clinical psychologist. She is passionate about helping adults develop healthy coping skills, life satisfaction, and resilience. Using evidence based practices, she helps clients make meaningful changes, reach acceptance, discover strengths, and improve quality of life. Her expertise lies in working with adults dealing with a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, burnout, stress management, adjusting to illness/disability/pain, chronic pain, the mind-body relationship, changing health behaviors, developing new coping skills, and navigating life transitions (including divorce, grief, becoming a parent, etc). 

Dr. Kupper uses evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to create a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan for each client.

Dr. Kupper received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and was awarded her masters and doctorate degrees by Seattle Pacific University. Her clinical training and employment experience includes providing psychotherapy to patients at Swedish First Hill Family Medicine, serving as a researcher and study therapist at the University of Washington-Harborview Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, and providing individual and group psychotherapy while serving as the lead Psychologist at Virginia Mason Franciscan-St. Clare Pain Clinic in Lakewood, WA. Dr. Kupper completed her internship and fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
