EPA’s Response to COVID-19
Eastside Psychological Associates (EPA) would like to address the immense stress and anxiety that our community is facing regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We are all living with the impact of school closures, working from home, changes to community events, and the necessity of social distancing. These events have encouraged us to re-evaluate both our personal lifestyles as well as our day-to-day interactions. As a collection of independent mental health providers, EPA is committed to providing mental health services and support to our clients in the greater Seattle area. Our deep commitment to this work has led EPA partners and associates to collaborate with the Washington State Department of Health, local hospitals, and to provide pro bono services, all in order to address state-wide mental health needs during this crisis.
We recognize that at this time anxieties are high, and the future is uncertain. We encourage you to reach out to your independent providers regarding accommodations that they might be able to make, such as providing telehealth services or changing appointment times. We want to remind everyone that taking care of your physical health is important, but as is your mental health.
