Dr. Shannon DuBois is a licensed psychologist who provides counseling to adults, adolescents, children, and families. Providing a safe environment, Dr. DuBois helps clients capitalize on their strengths while finding relief from psychological concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and ADHD. Dr. DuBois also conducts psychological assessments—testing for ADHD, highly capable programming, learning disorders, and other psychological issues. She received her BA from the University of Washington, and her MA and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University. Additionally, Dr. DuBois is an adjunct professor at Northwest University, teaching psychology.
Dr. DuBois utilizes evidence-based approaches and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Prepare/Enrich, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Lifespan Integration. If desired, Dr. DuBois counsels with a faith-based or spiritual perspective, while welcoming and respecting clients of all backgrounds. Having lived overseas for four years and traveling to 25 different countries, Dr. DuBois is sensitive to the characteristics of clients’ various cultures. Finally, she is a Board Member for Stronger Families, and works with other non-profit organizations.
