Lisa Daste, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in working with youth and families. She is deeply committed to seeing children as whole human beings and ensuring their voices are heard. With a warm, client-centered approach, Lisa creates natural connections that leave clients feeling empowered and understood. Lisa provides support for a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including disruptive behaviors, emotional dysregulation, attention difficulties, life transitions, social skill deficits, anxiety, and depression. She also works closely with parents, offering guidance to strengthen family dynamics and improve overall functioning.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Montana and holds dual master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Sport & Exercise Psychology from Argosy University in Arizona. She is recognized as a Child Mental Health Specialist in Washington State and has extensive experience working with at-risk youth in intensive outpatient settings. Lisa has served in multidisciplinary wraparound teams as both a therapist and program manager, collaborating with parents, educators, and community partners. Additionally, she has provided clinical supervision for associate-level therapists working toward full licensure.
Utilizing an integrative approach, Lisa incorporates interventions from Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and co-regulation. Beyond traditional therapy, Lisa has a passion for working with youth athletes, helping them navigate the mental and emotional demands of sports while developing skills that support them both in competition and in life. Lisa’s goal is to create a safe and engaging environment where young people feel free to be their authentic selves, build resilience, and thrive- wherever life may lead them.
