Dr. Jenny Armstrong is a licensed clinical psychologist offering counseling services to adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Armstrong received her Psy.D in Clinical Psychology and her M.A. in Child, Couple, and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. She has worked and trained in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric units, child and adolescent crisis stabilization units, community mental health centers, and substance abuse treatment clinics. Dr. Armstrong has provided comprehensive psychological assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings for adolescents and adults; additionally, she completed two years of training in providing cross-cultural neuropsychological assessments for refugees in the greater Seattle area.
Dr. Armstrong uses an integrative approach to psychotherapy and believes strongly in tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs. Her approach is informed by Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, with the integration of evidenced-based strategies that are both solution-focused and goal-driven.
