Jelena A. Vranjin, Ph.D.

Dr. Vranjin is a clinical psychologist offering therapy services to adults and adolescents. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and mental health difficulties ranging from mild life difficulties to severe mental illness. She aims to help clients identify and cope with internal and external obstacles that keep them from having the kind of life they want to have. This involves helping clients to deal with difficult emotions that often feel unbearable and uncontrollable, and to understand why they repeatedly engage in actions that are self defeating and/or destructive. Dr. Vranjin hopes to help clients to begin making necessary changes to live more fulfilling lives that are centered on their personal strengths and values.

Dr. Vranjin received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and completed postdoctoral work at Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital. She focuses on using evidence-based therapy approaches, specifically including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational enhancement and mindfulness based techniques.
