Colin Smith, Ph.D.

Dr. Colin Smith is a licensed psychologist who provides individual therapy and assessment services for children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Smith specializes in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depression, as well as strategies for addressing behavior problems, defiance, and challenging parent-child relationships. In addition, Dr. Smith sub-specializes in the integration of educational services, including assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, gifted programs, and academic placement. Dr. Smith strives to employ strategies from current research and evidence-based practices, while tailoring them to the specific needs of individual children and their families.

Dr. Smith completed his doctorate in school psychology from the University of Washington, and his pre-doctoral internship from Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Smith utilizes multiple theoretical approaches to guide treatment planning, including cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and family systems orientations.
