Anja Luthi, PsyD, LMHCA, is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She attended Antioch University Seattle where she obtained her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Luthi has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including community counseling and pediatric neuropsychology clinics. She completed her pre-doctoral and secondary internships at Ryther, a residential treatment center for children with behavioral health issues. While there, she provided therapeutic interventions and assessment services to children and adolescents with a history of neglect and abuse, grief and loss issues, anxiety, mood disorders, childhood-onset schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder, specific learning disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. She has facilitated and co-facilitated treatment groups for children who struggled with body and impulse control, emotion expression and regulation, and social skills.
Dr. Luthi uses an integrative approach and provides services that draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and parent management training. Additionally, she uses techniques from play therapy to engage with and treat young children with early trauma experiences.
