Eric LaBass, PsyD, LMHCA

Eric LaBass received his M.A. from Antioch University and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. He completed his internship at Fremont Community Therapy Project and Ryther Child Center. Eric has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Eric draws upon relational psychoanalytic, family systems theories, and evidence-based approaches including DBT, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Eric emphasizes collaborative and holistic approach to treatment planning. He works with adults, adolescents, and children. He provides DBT skills training for individuals and groups. In addition, he also provides parent coaching to assist parents in learning emotion coaching skills to increase cooperation from children, cope effectively with children’s negative emotions, and create a family atmosphere characterized by love and respect.
