Crystal LaBass, MA, LMHCA

Dr LaBass works with children, families, and adults. She trained at the Fremont Community Therapy Project and at Ryther Child Center, as well as at the Autism Spectrum Treatment and Research (ASTAR) Center. She has a master’s degree from Antioch University Seattle and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. Crystal works with children struggling with emotional and behavioral difficulties and learning differences to find effective adaptations and to support social and emotional development. She also works with children and families who are dealing with responses to trauma. She provides psychological and learning disability assessments that contribute to tailored treatment planning. She works with families to provide parents with new perspectives and tools, identify and address problematic patterns of interacting, and increase understanding and family harmony.

Dr LaBass draws upon narrative, humanistic, and family systems theories and utilizes a range of evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
